The Challenge of Wastewater Treatment
Wastewater treatment is a complex and challenging industrial problem. Every day huge volume of toxic wastewater is produced in many factories and refineries around the world.
Conventional ways include bio-treatment, incineration, membrane and evaporation.
Unfortunately, these conventional approaches of dealing with wastewater is costly, time consuming and non-sustainable. Harmful by-products (like sludge or toxic gases) are created from these approaches.
EFP Technology
Enviroclean Pte Ltd’s proprietary Electronic Frequency Pulse (EFP) technology can treat wastewater and spent caustic.
EFP uses free radicals to breakdown contaminants in wastewater to water, carbon dioxide and nitrogen gases.

Before treatment
Samples: COD 1,200 to 35,000 mg/litre;
pH: 5-6
Appearance: white suspension, strong pungent ammonia, amine smell
After EFP Treatment
COD: 0 mg/litre; pH 7.3
Appearance: Clear, colourless and odor free
b. EFP was used to process high BOD wastewater from Heng Long Leather, co-owned by LVMH
Before treatment
Samples: COD 25,000 mg/litre;
pH: 12-14; TN : 5,000 mg/litre
Appearance: Yellow, Strong ammonia smell
After EFP Treatment
COD: 0 mg/litre;
pH 7.0; TN : 0-2 mg/litre
